   This Drama series is running throughout Advent written by the Worship Arts Design Team. Last week and this week has gone very well and great response and interaction with the congregation.

    We started this song during the offering and then invited the people to stand by the time we got to the chorus for the first time.

This Service seemed to have gone really well. Our morning was crazy with people not being around when we needed them, our bass guitarist was a witness to an accident on the way to church in the morning and didn't show up until just before the service. All in all, it was a crazy morning and it just seemed to excite my faith in what God was going to do in that service. Things went really smoothly and the congregation really seem to be interactive and engaged. It was encouraging to see God working through the worship, drama and tech teams.

This week seemed to work well. It felt a little off from the stage but it apparently went well. We cut down the songs by two and it helped the leader a lot. We tried something different closing our service: The song "Our Father In Heaven" has a benediction as the chorus and so we sung the chorus twice, then played quietly as the leader dismissed the congregation but also invited them to take the chorus as their benediction, then we sang it a Capella, which turned out beautifully and brought the band back into it after singing the chorus through once and then finished off the song. On a whole this service went fine. I felt like I was doing to much though. I was trying to play with my electric instead of acoustic (I normally play acoustic) and then my team was needing a lot of coaching so that was drawing my focus away from leading. It was a challenge this Sunday for me.
